The National Motorists Association has ranked the states on what we might call the freedom to motor. The criteria include things like speed traps, red-light cameras, roadblocks, and specialized traffic courts. Based on these factors, the three best states are our old friends Wymontaho (in order, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana). At the bottom: Maryland, Ohio, and, the very worst, New Jersey.
