Yesterday I mentioned the old Gordon Sinclair editorial alleging that other nations never lend assistance to the U.S.A. -- thankfully, that turns out to be no longer the case. For instance, the BBC is reporting that "The rescue operation is also getting the backing of foreign governments, some eager to repay America for the help it sent them in time of crisis", including assistance from Belgium, Japan, and Turkey.
