I tend more and more toward what Seymour Martin Lipset calls "American Exceptionalism" -- the view that America is different from other countries in some fundamental ways (different even, I regret to say, from the other nations of the Anglosphere). There are many reasons for thinking so, which I intend to write about in future posts (one example I've noted before: economic productivity). Until then, I leave you with a link to an article by Dinesh D'Souza entitled What's So Great About America?.
