Hagiography

This suite is the story of one early period of my life (thus the tongue-in-cheek title). Musically these songs, written in the late 1980s and early 1990s, are in essence folk-rock with influences from classical, jazz, blues, new age, troubadour music, and progressive rock.

In late 2006 I made some rough recordings of this music — one-shot takes done live in my basement with a single mic to capture both the voice and guitar, unfortunately replete with off-tune singing and even some incorrect lyrics, so don't take these as definitive renditions! I plan to produce more polished versions, but the first step was to at least document the basic idea behind each song.
